HYALURONIC ACID
Hyaluronic acid naturally occurs in and around your horse’s joints, and it plays multiple roles in their function. The joint capsule, a fluid-filled sac surrounding each joint, is filled with synovial fluid that allows the bones to pass over each other easily. This fluid has an anti-inflammatory action that contributes to the joint’s function and comfort
Hyaluronic acid is a key component of the synovial fluid, responsible for the fluid’s lubrication and viscosity properties. It is also found in your horse’s joint cartilage.
Hyaluronic acid is clinically proven to be an essential component of joint health and joint supplements. According to the report, The Use of Equine Nutritional Supplements in Finland, hyaluronic acid helps to lubricate joint cartilage and keep synovial fluid at the proper viscosity. The report found that horses supplemented with hyaluronic acid experienced improved joint cartilage development. Horses that received oral hyaluronic acid after undergoing arthroscopic surgery also experienced less fluid buildup in the synovial joint.
MSM
MSM plays an essential role in helping to minimize joint inflammation. If your horse’s joint capsule is damaged, the body responds by inflaming the joint to help it heal. That inflammation can lead to increased pain and stiffness, but MSM’s anti-inflammatory effect can help to counteract it.
MSM occurs naturally and is quickly absorbed by the body. According to the report mentioned earlier, MSM has a protective effect for joint cartilage, so it’s frequently included in joint products intended to help reduce the symptoms of arthritis.

VITAMIN C
